| NHF is collaborating with 4 hospitals (California Hospital Medical Center, Childrens Hospital Los Angeles, Harbor UCLA Medical Center and Huntington Memorial Hospital) on this family-focused, pediatric obesity prevention program. HELP will assist families with overweight children to become more fit by teaching them how to eat healthily and how to incorporate more physical activities into their daily lives. To reach their healthy lifestyles goals, families will participate in six interactive, fun workshops, and support groups, both of which are available in English or Spanish. NHF is facilitating this collaboration and will be conducting all evaluations for it. |
