National Health Foundation (NHF) is a 501 (c)3 independent non-profit public charity, and is the program manager, evaluator and fiscal administrator for Patient Safety First. The mission of NHF is to improve and enhance the health of the underserved by developing and supporting innovative projects that 1) can become independently viable, 2) provide systemic solutions to gaps in healthcare access and delivery and 3) have the potential to be replicated nationally.
The Hospital Association of Southern California (HASC), founded in 1923, is a not-for-profit 501(c)(6) regional trade association. The mission of HASC is to serve the political, economic, informational and educational needs of hospitals AND to help improve the quality and accessibility of health services. The Hospital Association consists of 175 hospitals (public, private, not-for-profit and for-profit). The region covers six counties: Los Angeles, Orange, Santa Barbara, Ventura, Riverside and San Bernardino.
The Hospital Association of San Diego and Imperial Counties (HASD&IC) was established in 1956 (then the Hospital Council) and is a non-profit organization representing over 35 hospitals and integrated health systems in the two-county area. HASD&IC's mission is to support its members by advancing the organization, management and effective delivery of affordable, medically necessary, quality health care services for the communities of San Diego and Imperial counties.

The Hospital Council of Northern and Central California is a nonprofit hospital and health system trade association established in 1961, representing 185 hospitals in 50 of California’s 58 counties—from Kern County to the Oregon border. The Hospital Council of Northern and Central California’s Mission is to help our members to provide high quality health care and to improve the health status of the communities they serve. The Council’s membership includes hospitals and health systems ranging from small, rural hospitals to large, urban medical centers, representing more than 38,000 licensed beds.
