HEALTHCARE DELIVERY SYSTEMS:

NHF works with community partners and hospitals to help improve healthcare delivery systems using advanced web-based technologies, research, evaluation, e-surveys and operational leadership on pilot projects. Sample projects include: “Healthcare in Southern California: Perceptions versus Facts,” a report commissioned by the Hospital Association of Southern California (HASC) regarding the state of healthcare in Southern California; an analysis of hospital payer mix data also commissioned by HASC; the evaluation of the Healthy Births Initiative in collaboration with Los Angeles Best Babies Network funded by First 5 LA; the Southern California Patient Safety Collaborative (SCPSC), a partnership of Convergence Health Consulting, HASC and NHF supported by grants from the UniHealth Foundation, Blue Shield of California Foundation, and California HealthCare Foundation; and The Recuperative Care Project (described in more detail on the next page).
